These culottes have been such favorite in my wardrobe. I'm sure you have seen them in a lot of posts, and you will see them in many more. They're so versatile and a must have for Fall. I don't know about you guys but I have forgotten about my skinny jeans, not that I don't like them anymore, but lately I have been more into the straight and flare leg. They just make every outfit look better, don't you think? You can shop more flare pants here.

Last but not least, boots! Knee high boots, over the knee boots, ankle boots, we need them all!

BLUE & CREAM

So after not wanting Summer to leave, I am officially ready for Fall and Blue & Cream has some great fall essentials. Let's start with the oversized coat, it's perfect for those cold mornings while you make your quick run for coffee.

The oversized sweater is a must have, pair it with these GRLFRND straight leg jeans and the IRO boots and you have yourself an effortless day look. The Smythe blazer is another favorite of mine. I love the print and I think it pairs up pretty nicely with these glitter Golden Goose sneakers.

As for the A. L. C. velvet dress, I would wear it with some flare jeans during the day and take the jeans off for a girls night out, which I am very much in need of.
Hope you like my picks!

When I first started blogging in 2008, wearing sneakers was a no-no. If you weren't in 4 inch heels or higher you were not in trend which I thought was such bullshit. Now everywhere you go, you see sneakers paired with power suits, satin dresses and so on. I've always been a sneaker girl, and now with Gavin, even more. I love my heels, don't get me wrong, but I love the feeling of being able to run after Gavin without twisting my ankle.

Anyway, here are some street style looks that I found on Pinterest and some sneakers that I think would be great for Fall.

THE BEST TIME TO BE A KID

Last Christmas Gavin was finally fully into Christmas and not just the presents. He got very excited about decorating our Christmas tree, so after teaming up with Gymboree's campaign #TheBestTimeToBeAKid I thought it was the perfect time to give Christmas an early start and take him to the tree farm to get his own little Christmas tree for this year. Growing up, my family always had an artificial tree so the idea of going out and cutting down our own tree was a little foreign to me but was a tradition for Kevin and his family growing up so naturally when Kevin stole me from the city and brought me out to the country of New Jersey he dragged me out to the tree farm. Now we have also adopted the tradition of going to cut down our own tree.

We were the only ones at the tree farm (who else would get a tree the first week of November?!)  But the perks were that we had the whole place to ourselves and Gavin was able to dress up without having to bundle up. The weather was perfection.

Gavin's favorite color is Red, so he chose to wear Gymboree's Red flannel button down shirt. We then added Gymboree's Navy Vest, Olive Green sweats, and this cute multi color pom-pom hat to tie the look together. Gavin had a blast running in and out of the trees and playing hide and seek. We also brought some fake snow for him to throw around and he had a ball.

We all watched Kevin do the hard work and cut down the tree then Gavin tried to help him load it into the wagon. He was excited to get it home. After the long day we all took a rest and decided we would decorate the next morning.
Gavin's Gymboree outfit: Red flannel shirt | Navy quilted vest | Pajamas | Santa slippers

The next morning I heard Gavin's little footsteps heading to the living room. I looked at the time and it was only 6:30am! He usually wakes up from 8 to 9am, so I know he couldn't wait to start decorating. With one eye open, I went to check on him and he was already digging into the decorations bin. He just loves everything about Christmas, even these pajamas and Santa slippers made him happy, and he does not like wearing slippers. Anyway, we put some Christmas songs, danced and decorated the tree together. If you only saw him, he sure was having a whole lot of fun. For him, Christmas is definitely one of the best times to be a kid.

Check out Gymboree's Holiday collection. It's super adorable!

Last night I hosted my first Thanksgiving dinner and it's safe to say it was a success. I ate so much I didn't leave room for dessert, but there's always today. And the truth is I can't wait to eat some leftovers. Leftovers are the best, aren't they?  But first I wanted to do a little Black Friday shopping. So many great sales happening!  Shopbop's sale is still going on and it ends in 2 days. The more you spend, the more you save and there's new arrivals everyday!

Who else stops to take photos wherever you see Christmas decor? Come on, I can't be the only one. I drive Kevin and Gavin nuts, but I can't help it. It's the only time when all the streets look so beautiful and festive. So expect to more garlands and more wreaths in my photos. (insert happy emoji)

You guys I cannot believe the Holidays will soon be over! Makes me so sad, however I do hope January and February fly by, because I'm ready for Spring and our family vacation.

On another note I am feeling optimistic about 2018. There is so much that I want to share with you, but I want to take it step by step. So for now I'll just share that Kevin and I will be going through our first IVF treatment, but before that I will need to get open surgery to remove this giant fibroid that I have been dealing with for 2 years.

If you guys remember, back in April, I had a minor surgery to remove it, but when my doctor went in with the camera, she didn't see anything, so absolutely nothing was done. I continued to have very heavy periods and lots of pain, so I decided to get a second opinion. This time my new Doctor saw the fibroid and it was bigger, so no wonder I am constantly feeling sick.

Not only am I going through this procedure to have another baby, but to improve my quality of life. I am 35 years old and most of the time I feel like I am 65. 2017 has been tough, but I am trusting in God that all will turn out okay.

Now lets talk about shopping! Because that always puts me in a happy mood. ShopBop has some amazing new arrivals that you must check out!

I am 2 days late, but Merry Christmas! Did everyone eat as much as I did?! I went to visit my Mami for Christmas Eve and then drove back home to spend time with Kevin's family. Between those 2 days I must've have gained 5 extra pounds. I ate Arroz con Gandules, Pernil, Escabeche, Potato Salad, Spaghetti & Meatballs, Dominican cake, Empanadas and Macaroni salad. I have not weighed myself and I don't plan on it. I do plan on starting a cleanse. Any recommendations would be very much appreciated.

So now that Christmas is over, I can enjoy some of the sales going on and shop for my family vacation. I can't wait! Shopbop is having a Sale on Sale. An additional 25% off all sale items! Use code JOY25 and thank me later.

It's been such a long week. I have been home taking care of Gavin. He has been sick with the flu and a mild ear infection, and in that same week I started my IVF injections. They make me feel awful. I instantly get so drowsy and get really strong headaches. I have not been able to get any rest, until today. Gavin is still very congested, but seems like his fever has dropped. He played with his trains a bit and ate for the first time in 4 days, so that was a big deal!
So today I got out of my leggings and sweatshirt and got a little dolled up. Sure felt good to look a bit normal and not a mom of 20 kids.
