Last weekend we spent the day at Atlantic City just because it was so hot and we needed some sand between our toes. Unfortunately, I got a little sick, but Gavin was still able to enjoy the beach.

On another note I am so excited because in just one week we'll be heading to Disney World!
I can't wait to see Gavin's expression.

Since Gavin was born Kevin and I talked about taking Gavin to Disney World and it's finally happening! He's at the age where he will actually enjoy everything and I am so excited to see his reaction to every place we go to! So this is the last

DISNEY DAY ONE

Gavin: Whistle & Flute tank top | Zara shorts | Gap hat

Hi guys! I am finally back from our family vacation at Disney's Polynesian Resort and though it's good to be home, I am missing Disney's magical world very much. Everyone is so happy and everything is so fun, colorful and beautiful, but best of all seeing Gavin enjoy this trip really made my heart happy. At one point I had to hold back my tears because I was watching him have such great time. As a little girl, it was always my dream to go to Disney World, but my parents could not afford it. It really is an expensive trip. You can't just go there for a day or anything less than a week. There is so much to see and experience! We are so thankful that Gavin was able to experience Walt Disney World.

This was our first day, we stayed at Polynesian Resort and it was beautiful. I seriously did not want to leave. Especially their pools!  Anyway,  we arrived a little late so we didn't do much. We checked in our hotel, changed clothes because it was scorching hot! We had dinner, (I was too hungry to take a photo of my food) Gavin played in the sand and we watched the fireworks while listening to Polynesian music. It was a beautiful peaceful night.

DISNEY DAY 2 | MAGIC KINGDOM | PART 1

These animals look real right? well, they're not! This is from the Jungle Cruise at the Magic Kingdom. Gavin loves Elephant, so he loved this ride very much. By the end of the cruise I was drenched in sweat and was ready for a hat. My hair was not behaving. Still, it was a fun experience.
So I got the hat. I told you I was ready. It was so hot! and standing in line for 15 minutes to take photos with Pluto felt like an hour, but it was all worth it! By the way you may see a lot of that Gray wristband I'm wearing, It's called a Magic band. It's an all in one device used to enter the parks, unlock your Disney hotel room, buy food, and shop. But the best part in my opinion was using it for FastPass+! FastPass allows you to make a reservation to ride an attraction at a Disney theme park and you don't have to wait in those long lines! It felt good to walk pass those people waiting for 2 hours for a ride. Mm-maybe I felt little bad. :-)

After our photo with Pluto, we decided to head back to our hotel and put Gavin down for a nap while I sunbathed by the pool. Stay tuned for part 2!

DISNEY DAY TWO | PART 2

We went to Disney Springs to have dinner at Wolfgang Puck's Grand Cafe.  For starters I had the Tuna Tartare and for my entree I had Mahi Mahi with a potato, shrimp, lobster tomato broth. It was all so delicious.
Anthropologie jumpsuit | J.Crew tassel earrings (shop tassel earrings here) | Steve Madden slides (shop slides here)

After our dinner we stopped by the Havaianas stores to buy me a pair of flip flops because mine were stolen earlier that day while I was in the pool. Who steals flip flops? They were not fancy at all, but I guess the bright side is that I got a better pair. You can shop the pair I got and they're on sale now!

After that we did some more small shopping and enjoyed the beautiful night.
Hope you guys are enjoying my Disney posts. There's a lot more photos to come!

DISNEY DAY THREE | POOL DAY

On our third day we all decided to take a break from all the walking and have Gavin enjoy the pool, because he loved it, and of course we wanted to enjoy it too. I got a little sunburn as you can see in the photos.

After spending most of the day at the pool, we all freshened up for our night out. I wore my Cuban-ish dress to have dinner at Emilio and Gloria's Estefan's restaurant Bongos Cuban Cafe located at Disney Springs. I had Tostones Rellenos as an appetizer, which are 3 small cups of fried plantains each filled with chicken, shrimp, and shredded beef. I mean, it was the bomb! For my entree I had the Churrasco, it's a 11oz skirt steak with chimichurri sauce over it, served with rice, beans and tostones, then topped it off with a giant Piña Colada. I wish I had photos of the food, but I was so hungry I forgot to shoot with my camera. I will say, the food was SO GOOD. Just thinking about it makes me want to take a weekend trip just to go back, plus the atmosphere was right up my alley. Stage dancing, loud music, happy people and lot's of Salsa. WEPA!

Also today Shopbop is having an additional 25% off on their Designer Boutique sale section!

DISNEY DAY FOUR | FUN IN THE SUN & EPCOT

Yes guys, I am still uploading Disney photos. There's just so much to share and I am trying my best to do it quickly. I definitely don't want to be posting Disney photos in the Fall, haha.  Anyway, on this day we decided to start our day with some pool time. The days were quickly going by and we wanted to take advantage of the Polynesian Resort. Gavin's favorite part was when the ducks jumped in, in fact that I think every kid there loved the ducks.

We then headed over to Epcot, got on a Finding Nemo ride, which we all loved. I was literally excited like a 4 year old. We also checked out the aquarium, met Miss Daisy and she loved my curly hair!

Our mini trip to Disney's Animal Kingdom was amazing. The food was great and we got to see a lot of animals up close. Gavin held a real ostrich egg. I think that had to be his favorite part of the day because he was so excited. Me, I was just obsessed with the Giraffes, perhaps because I'm tall and long like them.  Have you been to the Animal Kingdom?

Looking at these photos of Gavin get me so emotional. The first time we brought him to this beach he was about 10 months and eating a handful of sand and now he is so big, going to school full time and turning 4 years old next month. I am sad that he is growing up so fast, but the best thing of all is that the older he gets, the more love he gives me and that makes this mama feel so happy inside.

On another note, hope you guys like my little Summer dress.

I have been so stressed lately, I'm ready for a whole weekend all to myself. Preferably at the beach with lots of snacks. :-)

2nd Outfit: Faithful the Brand top and skirt set

Yes, this is another Disney post, the best part of our trip so of course I had to share. We went to Chef Mickey to have brunch with Mickey and his friends! Gavin was sooo excited! and of course we all were too. Mickey and his friends stayed with us for a full hour and not to mention, the food was delicious! I think I had about five Mickey pancakes and 2 servings of cheesy potatoes, yum. (Sorry, no photos. Mickey and friends kept us too busy)

Oh and I had to change clothes after dropping coffee on my skirt, but I didn't care because I had this cute top and skirt set to wear and I had the best brunch ever!

READY FOR FALL

Zara tunic top (shop tunic here)| Levis wedgie jeans | J.Crew earrings | Zara sandals (shop similar sandals here)

While visiting my Mom, I made a little stop to shoot my outfit.

I think I spent all Summer in flats so it was a bit weird to be in heels. I felt like I couldn't walk in them, gotta get my step back.

Now on a more serious note. Lately, I have been trying to stay away from watching the news, but it's kind of inevitable with social media. Everyday it's something new. From DACA, the Hurricanes, the poor girl, Emely Peguero that was murdered in Dominican Republic. It all gets me so depressed.
I just want to say that I am praying for all those affected by Hurricane Harvey and Hurricane Irma.

I see a lot of people on social media making jokes about it and I really don't think it's a laughing matter. Please if you can, do not take any chances and evacuate, especially if you have children. It's not worth risking any lives.  I am praying that very little damage is done.

xoxo
